CAD Modeling
CAD modeling represents the first step toward a production-ready project. Our engineering team can take anything from rough sketches to partially built models and develop them into a finished CAD model or assembly.
3D Print Prototyping
Prototyping can save money, time, and future revisions. The earlier changes can be incorporated in the product development process, the better. We offer numerous standard and high tolerance 3D printing options, using numerous materials, to test your product in the real world.
Product Engineering, DFM (Design For Mfg) Review
DFM, or Design for Manufacturing, is another critical step in the process. This involves engineering the product file to be compatible with the constraints of injection molding, blow molding, or whichever manufacturing method is being used. For example, the product's wall thickness and consistency, radiuses, and flow capability are all considered when preparing for manufacturing.
Mold Engineering
Once the part is ready for injection molding, we'll develop a mold CAD model for the machining process. This process accounts for numerous variables, including material shrink rate, flow properties, and cavitation of the mold. Multi-cavity tools, family molds, hydraulic slides, hot runners, and more are all available.
